Notice is hereby given that the above-styled matter has been filed in the Circuit Court of Wood County, West Virginia, pursuant to the West Virginia Contraband Forfeiture Act (West Virginia Code 60A-7-1, et. seq.). Any person or corporation having a claim to the hereinafter described property shall, on or before the 7th day of October, 2016, file, in writing, their claim to said property with the Clerk of said Court, which said claim must clearly state the identity of the claimant and an address where legal process can be served upon such person or corporation. A copy of said claim shall be delivered to Jason A. Wharton, Prosecuting Attorney, Counsel for Petitioners, at the Office of the Wood County Prosecuting Attorney, Judge Donald Black Annex, 317 Market Street, Parkersburg, West Virginia 26101.

Pursuant to West Virginia Code 60A-7-705 (c)(1-6), the following information is given: (1) the property seized which is the subject of the petition filed is $2,380.00 IN UNITED STATES CURRENCY; (2) the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force is responsible for the seizure; (3) the property was seized on April 29, 2016 at mile marker 182, Interstate 77, Wood County West Virginia; (4) the only owners of the property subject to forfeiture known to Petitioners is Talisha Wallace and Shanteashia Piggee; (5) the person having possession of the seized property at the time of the seizure was Talisha Wallace and Shanteashia Piggee and (6) a request to the above named Court to enter an Order directing ownership of said property in the State and the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force will be made.

The purpose of this public notice is to inform affected citizens and invite public comments on proposed changes to the HOME Program. As part of its Citizen Participation Plan, the City will receive written comments on the amendment until August 19, 2016. An open meeting to discuss this amendment was held during the City of Parkersburg’s Finance Committee meeting Monday August 1, 2016. Comments should be submitted to the Development Department, One Government Square, and P.O. Box 1627, Parkersburg, WV 26102. The City shall consider any such comments received, and if appropriate, modify the proposed changes. Any such comment shall be included as part of the City’s submission of the amendment to HUD. Changes proposed and changes adopted by the City Council are available for review during business hours at the Development Department, Fifth Floor, Municipal Building, between the hours of 8 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. The West Virginia Bureau for Public Health, Office of Nutrition Services, Women, Infants and Childrenás (WIC) Program is seeking public comment on its 2017 State Plan, in accordance with Federal Regulations 246.4 (23) (b). The plan outlines the programás goals, priorities and objectives for the upcoming fiscal year.

A hearing will be held to receive public comment on the plan from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, in the State WIC Office Conference Room 507 located at 350 Capitol Street, Charleston, WV.

A copy of the State Plan may be viewed at the State WIC office at the above address or on the Office of Nutrition Services website at http://ons.wvdhhr.org. Written comments about the plan may be sent to: WV WIC Program, Room 519, 350 Capitol Street, Charleston, WV 25301-3717, Attention: Public Comment.

Patrick Jones, Substitute Trustee by Notice of Substitution of Trustee which notice is of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County of Commission of Wood West Virginia, and by Deed of Trust dated August 31, 2006, executed by Jeremiah J. Comer, Gregory B.
