NOTICE OF SALE OF REAL ESTATE

Notice is hereby given that in accordance with an Order of the Circuit Court of Wood County, West Virginia, Civil Action No: 19-C-153, C. Blaine Myers, Special Commissioner, shall offer for sale at the front door of the Wood County Courthouse, 1 Court Square, Third and Market Streets, Parkersburg, Wood County, West Virginia, on October 7, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. certain real property located in the City of Williamstown, Wood County, West Virginia, more particularly described as follows:

Fronting fifty (50) feet on the west side of Columbia Avenue and running thence in a westerly direction with the same width 130 feet, running with the south line of Elm Street to Plum Alley, the same being Lot No. 28 in the Whitten Stewart Addition to Williamstown, a Plat of which Addition is of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Wood County, West Virginia, in Deed Book 91, at Page 516, to which Plat reference is hereby made.

Said property is further identified as Lot #28 Whitten Stewart Lane, Map 7, Parcel 064, illiamstown District, Wood County, West Virginia, with a physical address of 600 Columbia venue, Williamstown, West Virginia.

Said property shall be offered for sale to the highest bidder, subject to confirmation by Order of the Circuit Court of Wood County, West Virginia. The following terms will apply to said sale:

1. A deposit of ten (10%) percent of the purchase price on the day of sale shall be required, with the balance to be paid within a reasonable time as determined by the Special Commissioner and Purchaser, and as approved by the Court.
2. The sale is subject to any and all reservations, exceptions, conditions, grants of rights of way and easements by the current owners and their predecessors in title.
3 The undersigned reserves the right to adjourn the sale from day to day and from time to time upon oral proclamation made at the time and place of sale set forth herein.
4. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
5. Sale is subject to unpaid ad valorem taxes and special assessments, if any.
6. In the event that the successful bidder at the sale fails or refuses to consummate his, her, its or their purchase, then the undersigned shall have the option to consummate sale with the next highest bidder at the sale.

The listing has been developed in accordance with FHWA/FTA guidance that requires Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPO) prepare and make available for review projects from the previous fiscal year that were federally obligated for implementation. A federal obligation constitutes a legal commitment from the federal government to pay for the federal share of an authorized project cost. The annual listing of obligated projects for FY 2019 is available for review on the WWW website located at www.triplew.org. The Wood County Commission will be accepting sealed bids for the purchase of one 16×24 picnic shelter kit and two 20×40 shelter kits. The kits will include hardware and frame. They will include heavy timber 6×6 post, have a double top cord, trusses will be exposed and the roof will be 2×6 Tongue and groove lumber. Metal will be purchased separately. Anchors for post to attach to existing concrete pad will be included in the package. Proposals must contain blueprints of shelters, anchor details, picture of completed shelters and detailed materials list.

All quotes must be turned in to the County Administrators Office (Room 203) via mail or hand delivered to No.1 Court Square, Suite 203, Parkersburg, WV 26101, on or before noon on September 20, 2019. All bids will be opened at the commission meeting on September 23, 2019

55th STREET DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS

The City of Vienna is seeking sealed bids for the 55th Street
Drainage Improvements project located within the City of Vienna.

Bidding documents and specifications are available at the office of the Public Works Director, Vienna Utility Board, 210 60th Street, Vienna, WV 26105.

Sealed proposals will be received until 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2019, at the above address, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. No bid may be withdrawn after that time for a period of ninety (90) days.

Proposals received after that time will not be accepted and will be returned to the bidder unopened. Sealed proposals should be clearly marked âSealed Bid Contract SW 20-01.

The City of Vienna reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality therein:
