NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, default having been made in the payment of the indebtedness secured by the deed of trust hereinafter described and the undersigned having been required so to do by the owner and holder of said indebtedness, the undersigned Substitute Trustee {see General Lien Book No. 2000, at page 5 thereof} will offer for sale at the front door of the Wood County Courthouse, Parkersburg, West Virginia, on

BEING all of Lot #7 as shown on a plat of Brookside Addition to the City of Parkersburg, which plat is of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Wood County, West Virginia, in Plat Book No. 3, at page 62, reference to which plat is hereby made and had for a more particular description of said lots by metes and bounds.

 

BEING the same real estate conveyed unto Michael A. Oyler and Theresa M. Oyler by deed dated the 27th day of September, 2002, of record in the aforesaid Clerkás Office in Deed Book No. 1045, at page 612.

 

This conveyance is expressly made subject to those certain restrictive covenants as set forth in that certain Deed dated July 28, 1927, and of record in the aforesaid Clerkás Office in Deed Book 196, at page 171.

 

This conveyance is made subject to all rights-of-way, reservations, restrictions, protective covenants, utility easements, and oil and gas leases of record in the chain of title in the aforesaid Clerkás Office.

 

AND believed to have a street address of 2608 Fairview Avenue, Parkersburg, West Virginia.

 

The following terms will apply to said sale, to-wit:

 

  1. Minimum bid of $70,000.00, payable $2,500.00 in cash or certified funds at sale, with balance due within 15 days or as the Trustee and bidder(s) may otherwise agree at sale

 

  1. Subject to any and all reservations, exceptions, conditions, grants of rights of way and easements made by the grantor and his predecessors in title prior to the granting of the deed of trust being foreclosed upon.

 

  1. The undersigned reserves the right to adjourn the sale from day to day and time to time upon oral proclamation made at the time and place of sale set forth herein or at such later time and place to which the sale has theretofore been adjourned.

 

  1. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

 

  1. Sale is subject to unpaid ad valorem taxes and special assessments, if any, as well as any sale of the subject real estate for unpaid taxes.

 

  1. The premises described hereinabove, including any and all improvements thereto, are sold âAS IS-WHERE ISã with no warranty express or implied.

 

  1. The owner and holder of the indebtedness secured by the deed of trust described hereinabove reserves the right to bid at this sale.

 

  1. The successful buyer at the sale will be responsible for paying any and all transfer stamps, excise fees and recording costs with respect to the trustee’s deed.

 

  1. Neither the owner and holder of the indebtedness secured by the underlying deed of trust nor the substitute trustee shall have any duty to cause any existing tenant or person or persons occupying the subject property to vacate said property.

 

  1. Any personal belongings remaining in the subject premises after sale shall be deemed abandoned and may thereafter be disposed of at the successful bidder’s or bidders’ discretion. Any person or entity claiming ownership of or any interest in any such property should contact the undersigned prior to sale about any such claim.

 

  1. Sale is subject to the provisions of W.Va.Code Œ38-1-16 regarding any existing tenancy at the subject premises.

 

  1. The successful bidder at the sale and the Trustee shall execute a Memorandum of Sale at the conclusion of the sale, and the terms of the Memorandum shall control.

 

  1. In the event that the successful bidder at the sale fails or refuses to consummate his, her, its or their purchase, then the Trustee shall have the option to consummate sale with the next highest bidder at the sale.

The City of Vienna is seeking sealed bids for flower planting and maintenance at various designated locations throughout the City.

 

Bidding documents and specifications are available at the office of the Purchasing Agent, Vienna City Building, 609 29th Street, Vienna, WV  26105.

 

Sealed proposals will be received until 9:00am on Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at the above address, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. No bid may be withdrawn after that time for a period of ninety (90) days.

The City of Parkersburg is soliciting proposals to select a firm to provide professional management services for the operation of the City Park Pool, Southwood Pool and the Southwood Park Waterslide for the 2018 Season. Interested firms must demonstrate experience in similar projects as the primary management firm. Written proposal will be accepted by the Finance Department of the City of Parkersburg, 1st Floor, #1 Government Square, P.O. Box 1627, Parkersburg, WV 26102 until 10:00 A.M. on Monday January 29, 2018. A copy of the Request for Proposal guidelines can be obtained from our website www.parkersburgcity.com

 

The purpose of this competitive process is to select the firm which will provide the highest quality service at a competitive fee. Accordingly, experience will be weighted heavily in this objective selection process. The firm judged most qualified will be asked to prepare a final proposal which shall include costs for said service. All firms making a submission must be prepared to provide a presentation to the selection committee. Presentations must include personnel who will oversee this project.
