REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

 

The Ritchie County Board of Education is seeking Request for Proposal; from interested vendors to provide installation of a new Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system at their Board of Education office building located at 134 South Penn Avenue Harrisville, WV 26362.

Interested vendors are invited to submit three (3) copies of their Proposals and any other relevant documentation no later than 4:00 pm on Friday, January 12, 2018. Submit Request for Proposals to Ora âRickã Coffman, Superintendent Ritchie County Board of Education 134 South Penn Avenue Harrisville, WV 26362.

Prospective vendors are encouraged to schedule a visit to review all aspects of this project before submitting a Proposal. Please contact David B. Weekley, Director of St dent Support Services at 304-643-2991 Ext 223 to schedule a visit.

A selection team established by Ritchie County Schools will evaluate all Proposals. The selection team may request selected vendors return to the Board of Education offices for further discussions concerning this Proposal. A recommended vendor will then be forwarded to the Ritchie County Board of Education for consideration of contract award. It is understood this project will not begin until March, 2018.

The Ritchie County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals received and to decide upon the issuance of a contract award in any manner deemed by it, in its sole discretion, to be in the best interest of the School District, and in accordance with West Virginia Code.

The Wood-Washington-Wirt Interstate Planning Commission (WWW) is considering amendments and revisions to the Fiscal Years 2018-2021 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for the Wood County, West Virginia and Washington County, Ohio portions of the document. The TIP provides a list of highway, transit, and bicycle and pedestrian projects programmed over a four period utilizing federal funds. In accordance with the public participation procedures for WWW, anyone interested in reviewing or commenting on the proposed project amendments can contact the WWW office at (304) 422-4993 ext. 125 or visit the agency website located at www.triplew.org for project specific information. Any comments related to the TIP amendments can be made by emailing them to randy.durst@movrc.org or by calling the above referenced number. All comments must be received by December 19, 2017. The WWW Policy Board will be requested to approve the TIP amendments during a regularly scheduled board meeting on December 20, 2017 at 10:00 AM in Room 10 at the Marietta Armory located at 244 Front Street, Marietta OH. All WWW board meetings are open to the public. This notice of public involvement activities and time established for public review and comment satisfies the program of projects public participation requirements.

On December 6, 2017, Fellowship Baptist Church of Vienna, WV, filed an application with the Federal Communications Commission to construct a new FM translator station at Parkersburg, WV to rebroadcast AM station WHNK operating on 1450 kHz at Parkersburg, WV.

The application proposes to operate the new FM translator on FM Channel 251, with a power of 0.175 kW. The proposed transmitter site for the new FM translator is 39õ 20’ 17.4ã N, 81õ 29’ 56.6ã W.
