LEGAL NOTICE-BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 8A, ARTICLE 24 OF THE CODE OF WEST VIRGINIA, AS AMENDED, AND THE PARKERSBURG ZONING ORDINANCE A-2530 AS ADOPTED ON FEBRUARY 27, 1973, THE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS WILL HOLD A PUBLIC MEETING AT 6:30 P.M., ON OCTOBER 16, 2019, IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS ON THE SECOND FLOOR OF THE PARKERSBURG MUNICIPAL BUILDING, ONE GOVERNMENT SQUARE, PARKERSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA, TO CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING APPEALS:

I. Owner Vienna Goldmark LLC, Applicant Theissen Brock 3908 Murdoch Avenue, R-1 District. Requesting the Board of Zoning Appeals to grant a 5771 foot lot size variance for a non-conforming use of a lot, installation of a 6á high retaining wall, zero street frontage, and using the property as a parking lot.
II. Owner Donna Lyons/Applicant Diana Eakins 2114 10th Avenue, in an R-3 District, requesting the Board of Zoning Appeals to allow a double-wide to be placed on the vacant lot.
III. Owner/Applicant Parkersburg Housing Authority, 1901
Cameron Avenue, in an R-2 District, requesting the Board of Zoning Appeals to be excused from the from 1363.02 (2) (a) (1) and (b) in the linear amounts of 166 feet around area 2, 80 linear feet on Nash Street in Area 3, 138 feet bordering residential apartments in area 3. An 18á border to be less than 5á in area 3. And a variance from installing perimeter landscaping in the linear amount of 170 feet in Area 4.
IV. Owner/Applicant Joannie Joy & Ernest Tingler, 405 Division Street, in an R-4 District, requesting the Board of Zoning Appeals to allow a variance add 1008 square foot addition to an existing 898 square foot dwelling.
V. Owner/Applicant Angela Reed, 4802 1st Avenue, in an R-4 District, requesting the Board of Zoning Appeals to allow a single-wide trailer to be placed on a lot.
VI. Owner/Applicant Phillip E. Morris, 2807 Soyer Street, in an R-3 District, requesting the Board of Zoning Appeals to allow installation of a carport 2 feet of the Right-Of-Way in the front of the dwelling.
