ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

 

The Gilmer County Commission will receive bids for the Gilmer County Courthouse Plaster Repair, until 1:30 p.m. local prevailing time on June 1, 2017 at the Gilmer County Commission Room, 10 Howard Street, Glenville, WV, at which time all bids will be opened and read aloud.

 

This project is partially funded by the West Virginia Courthouse Facilities Improvement Authority.

 

Digital copies of the contract documents, project plans, specifications, and other bidding information are available for free download after May 5, 2017 at http://www.mses architects.com/contractors. For questions regarding the download, please call MSES Architects at 304-366-9700. Hard copies of the documents may be purchased from Clarksburg Blue-Print Company, 302 Duff Ave., Clarksburg, WV; phone: 304-623-5702. Only complete sets of documents will be available. No partial sets or individual drawings can be purchased.

 

Any questions regarding the bid shall be submitted in writing to Pam Wean, MSES Architects at pam.w@msesinc.com by the end of the day on Wednesday, May 26, 2017, local time. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.

 

Bids will be received for the following Work: Repair and replacement of plaster on second floor of the courthouse including painting in rooms designated by Owner.

 

MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting for Bidders will be held on Thursday May 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., local time, at the Project Site: Gilmer County Courthouse, 10 Howard St., Glenville, WV 26351. Any contractor wishing to submit a bid must attend the Pre-Bid meeting for their bid to be considered.

 

BIDDERáS QUALIFICATIONS

Pursuant to Chapter 21-Article 11 of the âWest Virginia Contractor Licensing Actã of 1991, all Contractors doing business in West Virginia must be licensed to perform work in the State; the Contractor’s W.V. License Number must be affixed to all submitted construction Bids and fully executed and binding construction Contracts or Agreements.

 

Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades. Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
