Invitation to Bid #OM 17-01
HAULING OF CONTAMINATED MATERIALS
The City of Vienna is seeking sealed bids for the hauling of contaminated materials from the former Johns Manville site located at 2905 2nd Avenue Vienna, WV.
Bidding documents and specifications are available at the Vienna City Building, 609 29th Street, Vienna, WV 26105.
Sealed proposals will be received until 9:00 AM on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at the Vienna City Building, 609 29th Street, Vienna, WV 26105, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. No bid may be withdrawn after that time for a period of ninety (90) days.
Proposals received after that time will not be accepted and will be returned to the bidder unopened. Sealed proposals should be clearly marked âSEALED BID #OM 17-01. Prospective bidders may contact Mayor Randall Rapp at (304)295-6081, between the hours of 8:00AM to 4:00PM, Monday through Friday, for additional information regarding the bid specifications. Vendors must be registered with the State of West Virginia. If applicable, a City business license must be obtained and City Business and Occupation taxes paid before the final payment is rendered. Prospective bidders must provide a copy of a current WV Business Registration Certificate.
