PUBLIC NOTICE
The Wood-Washington-Wirt Interstate Planning Commission (WWW) has prepared a Draft Biennial Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for the four years 2018-2021. The TIP is a list of transportation projects in the study area that are programmed to receive federal authorization during the four-year period covered by the TIP. Each project identified on the list contains project identification numbers, project description, funding categories, and project cost by phase of work in each fiscal year. The types of projects included are highway and transit projects, as well as projects that provide for bicycle and pedestrian amenities. The study area covered by the TIP includes all of Wood County, West Virginia and portions of Washington County, Ohio. The document is available for review on the WWW website located at www.triplew.org. Anyone that would like to review and comment on the overall Draft FY 2018-2021 TIP should contact WWW at (304) 422-4993. Comments can be submitted in writing to WWW, PO Box 241, Parkersburg, WV 26102. Attention: Transportation Planning Director; or by email to randy.durst@movrc.org. All comments must be received within 30 days of the date of this notice to be considered in the final document. As part of the public comment period a public meeting has been scheduled for March 29, 2017. The meeting will be held in an âopen houseã format where the public can review the information anytime between the hours of 4 pm to 7 pm at the Washington County Public Library located at 615 5th Street in Marietta, Ohio. This notice of public involvement activities and time established for public review and comment stratifies the grantee program of projects public participation requirements. Upon completion of this comment period a final TIP will be prepared incorporating comments received.
