NOTIFICATION OF INTENT TO PURSUE GENERAL WATER RATE INCREASE
LUBECK PUBLIC SERVICE DISTRICT
Notice is hereby given that Lubeck Public Service District (the “District”), in order to pay the costs associated with increases related to general operation and maintenance, and to comply with statutory provisions requiring establishment of sufficient Reserve Accounts, intends to pursue an increase in its current rates and charges for water service. The average monthly bill for the various classes of customers will change as follows:

The first reading of the Resolution before the District’s Public Service Board considering authorization of the increased sewer rates and charges is set for July 9, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. Due to restrictions as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, public comments will not be received and considered due to the inability of the District to accommodate the public and other necessary meeting participants under social distancing restrictions. The public will have an opportunity to participate in a Public Hearing and second reading before the District’s Public Service Board set for July 23, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. This meeting will take place at the Parkersburg City Council Chambers on the Second Floor of the Parkersburg Municipal Building, One Government Square, Parkersburg, West Virginia. The public is requested to utilize the second floor entrance at the pedestrian bridge. This facility will enable the public to participate in person, but is of sufficient size to enable meeting participants to maintain social distancing requirements. Any person interested may appear at the Public Hearing on July 23, 2020, and present comments.
