NOTICE TO BIDDERS
UPGRADE AIRFIELD ELECTRICAL VAULT
RUNWAY 3-21 LIGHTING REHABILITATION
The Wood County Airport Authority is requesting proposals for the Upgrade Airfield Electrical Vault & Runway 3-21 Lighting Rehabilitation Project at the Mid-Ohio Valley Regional Airport near Parkersburg, WV. Proposal will be received by the Wood County Airport Authority until 11:00 a.m. prevailing time on the 11th day of June 2020. The proposals will be opened and read aloud on a Cisco WebEx conference call at 571-209-6390, access code 995 843 214 (the meeting does not require a password) at 11:15 a.m. prevailing time (late proposals will not be accepted). Hard copies will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender unopened.
All proposals must be submitted as ONE PDF document in accordance to the Instructions to Bidders and submitted via emailed to the following people:

Bid Documents may be obtained in PDF form by submitting a request to Lisa Dillow (LDillow@MBakerIntl.com) at Michael Baker International. Bid Documents shall be available on the 28th day of May, 2020.
A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held via Cisco Webex Meeting at 2:30 p.m. on the 29th day of May, 2020. To register for the pre-bid meeting submit request in writing before 11:00 a.m. on the 29th day of May, 2020 to Lisa Dillow at LDillow@MBakerIntl.com. All site visits shall be by appointment only.
A satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder or an acceptable surety in an amount equal to 10% of the bid shall be submitted with each bid (copy acceptable with pdf copy of bid but apparent low bidder shall deliver original to Airport within 3 days of bid opening). (Cashiers Check may serve as 10% Bid Bond and will be returned uncashed upon bid resolution). The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the bidder’s contract amount. Successful bidders will be required to obtain all permits necessary.
Davis Bacon Wage Determinations for West Virginia, Wood County shall apply and certified payrolls shall be submitted for this project.
Any Bid withdraw shall be governed by WV Code 5-22-2. Each bidder must ensure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, creed, color, sex, or national origin.
The Wood County Airport Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. The Authority further reserves the right to waive any informality in a bid or reject such an informal bid if it is to their advantage to do so.
