NOTICE OF INTENT TO
SELL REAL ESTATE OF
THE SHENANDOAH
DISTRICT OF THE WESLEYAN CHURCH
Please take notice that under the provisions of WV Code 35-1-10 the Shenandoah District of the Wesleyan Church hereby gives notice that it intends to sell and convey real estate situate at 2101 and 2103 Camden Avenue, Parkersburg, WV, unto Martha Helen Cobb and Allen J. Cobb, for the sum of $135,000.00, on or after the last publication date of this notice, said real estate more particularly described as follows: all of those certain lots, tracts or parcels of land lying and being situate in the City of Parkersburg, County of Wood, State of West Virginia, and more particularly bounded and described as follows:
FIRST TRACT: BEING what is known as Lot No. 15, Block No. 19, in Lizzie Tavenner’s Addition to Parkersburg, West Virginia, which said lot fronts fifty (50) feet on Central Avenue and extends back between parallel lines one hundred fifty (150) feet to a twenty foot alley, all of which is shown on a plat of said addition recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Wood County, West Virginia, in Plat Book No. 3, at Page 4.
Being the same real estate conveyed unto The Shenandoah District of the Wesleyan Church by deed dated April 4, 2004 and of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Wood County, West Virginia, in Deed Book 1067, at page 764.
SECOND TRACT: BEING what is known as Lot Sixteen (16) in Block 19, in Lizzie Tavenner’s Addition to Parkersburg, West Virginia, which said lot fronts fifty feet on Central Avenue and extends back between parallel lines to a twenty-foot alley, as shown on a plat of said Addition of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Wood County, West Virginia, in Plat Book No. 3, at Page 4.
Being the same real estate conveyed unto the First Pilgrim Holiness Church by deed dated August 28, 1953 and of record in the aforesaid Clerk’s Office in Deed Book 370, at page 337.
THIRD TRACT: BEING all of Lot No. 17, in Block 19, of Lizzie Tavenner’s Addition to Parkersburg, West Virginia, as shown on a plat of said Addition of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Wood County, West Virginia, in Plat Book No. 3, at Page 4, to which said plat reference is here made and had for a more particular description of said lot.
Being the same real estate conveyed unto the First Pilgrim Holiness Church by deed dated June 11, 1962 and of record in the aforesaid Clerk’s Office in Deed Book 466, at page 549.
There is EXCEPTED from the above-described tracts that certain 35 square foot parcel and 6 square foot parcel as conveyed unto the State Road Commission of West Virginia by deeds of record in the aforesaid Clerks’ Office in Deed Book 428, at page 385 and Deed Book 430, at page 105, respectively.
This conveyance is made subject to any and all exceptions, agreements, restrictions, covenants, easements and rights of way set forth in prior deeds of record.
