INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Roane County Courthouse Sprinkler Project at Spencer, WV, will be received in the Roane County Commission Chambers, Roane County Courthouse, Spencer, West Virginia, on August 23, 2019 at 12:00 noon at which time and place all complete bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

All Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Bidding Documents issued by the Owner. Bidding Documents may be obtained upon request to:

The project involves installing a dry-pipe sprinkler system in the records rooms of the Roane County Courthouse.

Bidders interested in submitting bids shall contact the Architect. Email Bid Package requests to Rachel Driggs
rdriggs@silling.com and a Bid Package will be sent out. There is no deposit required for Bid Packages and all printing costs incurred by bidders are non-refundable.

A certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid, or a satisfactory Bid Bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the state of West Virginia in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid must be submitted with each Bid.

The successful Bidder will be required to execute a contract and provide a Performance, Labor and Material Payment, and Maintenance Bond for 100% of the contract award.

All Prime Contractors and Subcontractors shall be licensed in compliance with SB409 (WV Contractorás Licensing Act). All General Contractors shall include their license number in the space provided on the Bid Form.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held in the Roane County Commission Chambers on August 9, 2019 at 12:00 noon. All contractors must attend the Pre-Bid meeting in order to be qualified to bid the project.

After the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids, no Bid may be withdrawn for aperiod of 60 days.
