IN RE: ANNEXATION OF PROPERTY BY MINOR BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENT WILLIAMS DISTRICT, WOOD COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA
NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the County Commission of Wood County, West Virginia will on the 26th day of June 2017, at 10:00 a.m., in the Court Room of said County Commission ; the Wood County Court House, located in the City of Parkersburg, Wood County, West Virginia hear the Petition of the City of Williamstown, a Municipal Corporation, for the annexation of territory to the City of Williamstown by minor boundary adjustment. The territory sought to be annexed to the said City of Williamstown is described below.
Any person having objections to such annexation, or desiring to be heard, may appear the time and place aforesaid and be heard if they so desire.
The territory proposed to be annexed to the City of Williamstown is situate in Williams District, Wood County, West Virginia, and consists of the following tracts of land:
- A tract of land containing 94.013 acres owned by Cocobean Realty, LLC and reflected on the Tax Maps of Williams District, Wood County, West Virginia, as Map 130, Parcel B.
- A tract of land containing 2.00 acres owned by Patsy A. Hardy and Steven E. Hardy, and reflected on the Tax Maps of Williams District, Wood County, West Virginia, as Map 130, Parcel B1, and which said Parcel is totally within the exterior boundary lines of Map 130, Parcel B.
- A tract of land containing 4.74 acres, owned by Henderson Wilds, LLC, a West Virginia Limited Liability Company, generally parallel to the easterly right of way line of WV Route 14, and being a portion of a parent tract reflected on the Williams District, Wood County, West Virginia, as Map 130, Parcel A2.
- The area between the easterly and westerly right of way lines of WV Route 14 extending from the northerly point of that portion of Map 130, Parcel A2 being annexed and extending to the southwesterly corner of Map 130, Parcel B.
